4×4 EMS Rapid Response vehicle

The Full Story

I was in the air, just 30 minutes from landing in Tel Aviv, when the war began. On the morning of February 28, our flight was diverted to Athens, and another plane was sent to bring us back home.

Since returning, I have been fervently asking the Lord how I might help the Israeli people during this time of war—even from far away.

Then, this week, two of my dearest Israeli friends, Elran and Margalit, shared an urgent need. Their village is one of three villages on a mountain in the northern Golan Heights that currently does not have an emergency response vehicle (ambulance) to serve the 1200+ people during this time of war or crisis.

The people of this village are not strangers to us. We know their children, their babies, and their sweet families. This is the village where we stay when we go to Israel.

The community in the Golan Heights

As Jew-hatred and antisemitism grow in the world (and even in the church) at an alarming rate, I am convinced that help for the Jewish people will come from small groups of Christians that push back against the rising tide of antisemitism and with the Lord's help say, “No, you will go no further.”

So, I would ask that you watch this short 3-minute video from Elran, and then take this need before the Lord and ask if He might have you play a role in helping make this possible.

The Situation

The people of the northern Golan Heights near the Lebanese border face danger daily. The terrorist group Hezbollah has reentered the war, and the area has become increasingly vulnerable.

At the top of this mountain there are:

Because the soldiers are targets, the people in the surrounding villages become targets as well. When rockets or drones enter the airspace, residents in these villages have only 15 seconds to reach their bomb shelters.

In moments like these, rapid emergency response can mean the difference between life and death.

Currently, only one volunteer first responder serves all three villages. He responds using his very old personal car, which often struggles on the steep mountain terrain and sometimes becomes stuck in the fields.

What is urgently needed is a 4×4 emergency response truck equipped with life-saving medical equipment, capable of navigating the terrain quickly and reliably.

The Goal

Raise $100,000 quickly so that we can purchase and equip this emergency response vehicle without delay.

100% of the funds raised will go toward:

Equipment Needed

Defibrillator (AED / Monitor)
LUCAS Mechanical CPR Device
Adult Resuscitation Bag (ALS/BLS)
Pediatric & Infant Resuscitation Bag
Medical Extrication Kit
Trauma Kit
Observation & Monitoring Bag
Spine Board
Burn Kit
Obstetric (OB) Kit
PPE / Viral Protection Kit

Why the Cost Is High

Vehicles entering Israel are subject to 100% import taxation, effectively doubling the purchase cost. This is one reason vehicles — and the cost of living in general — are significantly higher in Israel.

Why This Matters

While this vehicle will serve during terrorist attacks and rocket strikes, it will also save lives during everyday emergencies such as:

This single vehicle will serve these communities for many years to come.

A Prayerful Invitation

The longer I do this work, the more convinced I become that Great Commission work is often accomplished through the simplest assignments. When each of us responds in small acts of obedience, it is amazing to watch the Lord's larger orchestration unfold and to witness how He brings many small obedient steps together to accomplish His plans and purposes.

If you have been looking for a meaningful way to bless and support the Jewish people during this time of war, I would ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with us to make this possible and help us quickly respond to this urgent need.
